Stone County tax receipts start with the collector lookup
Stone County's collector provides real-estate and personal-property tax lookups, which are the right path for paid receipts and tax statements.
A Stone County receipt hunt belongs on the Collector side of the tax system. Online tax work separates payment from printing paid receipts for real estate and personal property. The real-estate lookup asks for the complete property number exactly as it appears on the tax statement.
Keep that apart from the Assessor and Recorder. The Collector can help with tax bills, payment status, paid receipts, and tax statements. Value questions and deed records sit in other offices.
In-person payments use the Galena address at 108 E. 4th Street, with a drop box at the north entrance of the Historic Courthouse. Online, the question is simpler: tax bill or paid receipt means Collector; assessment value or deed trail means another counter.
