Perry County land documents belong with the Recorder
The Perry County Recorder handles recorded land documents and points occasional and regular users to different record tools.
Deed work in Perryville has its own counter. The Perry County Recorder of Deeds is at 15 W Ste Marie Street, Suite 1, and the office’s duties include helping the public locate records, providing copies or certified copies for a fee, and recording and preserving land documents.
The online tools are split by how often you search. Tapestry is the occasional, pay-as-you-go route. Laredo is aimed at everyday users, with a monthly subscription available. A one-time deed check and repeated title, lending, or research work do not need the same path.
Keep the assessor and recorder lanes separate. The assessor can help with parcel and assessment information. The recorded land-document trail, including deeds and related filings, belongs with the Recorder’s Office.
