Camden County merchant licenses start with the collector
The Camden County Collector's merchant-license page is the local starting point for checking whether a business needs that county license.
Merchant-license errands in Camden County run through the Collector’s Office, but not every seller needs one. The application is available from that office. The exemption list is short.
Registered motor vehicle dealers do not need this license when selling vehicles is their main business. Doctors, dentists, and veterinarians are exempt when selling medicines used in their work. Farmers selling products from their own farm are exempt too, unless they keep a regular stand or business place away from the farm.
That keeps the county-license question narrow. Read the second page of the application for process details. Bring the exact business activity, not just the business name, because the answer turns on what is sold and where it is sold.
